APT 3 Half-day tour to Bahai Temple and Akshardham Temple


Bahai temple, which is also known as the Lotus temple, built between 1980 and 1986 is set amongst pools and gardens, and adherents of any faith are free to visit the temple and pray or meditate silently according to their own religion. Akshardham means the eternal, divine abode of the supreme God, the abode of eternal values and virtues of Akshar as defi ned in the Vedas and Upanishads where divine bhakti, purity and peace forever pervade. For the fi rst time ever in the world witness the heritage of India in all its facets, insights and beauty at the Swaminarayan Akshardham through its monument, exhibitions, verdant gardens and other attractions.

APT 4 Evening of son-et-lumiere at Red Fort

A spectacle with clever interplay of sound, light and actual voices are performed. The scenes are re-enacted from the day Delhi was founded, and continues until 15th August 1947, when Jawaharlal Nehru delivered his great Independence oration from the ramparts of the fort. After the show enjoy the typical Indian dinner in a local restaurant follows this.
